A chamfer is the forty-five-degree cut that softens a hard edge. It is the last operation — the one that costs time and adds nothing you can put in a spec sheet. It is also the first thing your hand finds. We named the company after it because it is the difference between an object that was made and an object that was finished.
What we make
Twelve objects for one desk, organised into three lines. Ground is the surface: cork, leather and felt, plus one pad that charges. Lift is elevation: two laptop stands and a vertical dock, in aluminium and oiled solid wood. Order is everything else — where the cables, the cards and the contents of your pockets go, so the desk stays a desk.
How we work
We do not hold stock in a United States warehouse and we do not pretend otherwise. Orders are made up and dispatched by our production partner, tracked, typically 5 to 11 days to the US. That is slower than a same-day marketplace and it is the honest number.
What we will not do
We will not publish a specification we have not verified. Where a supplier does not state an angle range or a screen-size compatibility, we say so on the product page rather than inventing a figure that sounds good. If a number is on a CHAMFER page, it is real.
